Service manual on CD 92-93 Ramcharger

Service manual on CD 92-93 Ramcharger - 03/07/19 08:53 AM

Anybody bought one and used it?
Are you able to copy files? Like move to a tablet to use in the garage?
Are the as good as using the actual manual?
I would think if I bought the 92 version it should pretty much be exactly the same as the 93. Because I have both vehicles now and need to repair the one where they used a hacksaw for the sunroof and I think in places they did the same thing with the wiring harness.
IE: added a push button start! Used lamp cord and other scabs of wire that they could find.

I have one for the 93 truck. I haven't tried to move the files to a tablet though. All I've done is print a few pages of wiring diagrams.

some differences in wiring diagrams when comes to 318/360. 92 had magnum 318 but not magnum 360. 93 had both. i know as a friend bought a basket case 92/93 mix/match and had to end up getting both but he was lucky to find fsm used at swap meet. good luck.

Geno's Garage has them on CD and in paper form. The paper manuals aren't cheap at around $110 but the CDs are only about $35.

I have the CD manuals you can buy on ebay for another vehicle. They are also in the $35 range. My computer had problems reading the CD but I was able to use another one to copy the PDF off it so I could actually use it. So you should be able to put it on a tablet.
It is an exact copy of the factory manual but they embed a watermark on every page saying it's a licensed product which is kind of annoying but still easy to see thru.

I ended up buying the factory manuals for a good price which I find a lot easier to use but I still use the CD version to print out pages if I actually need them when I am working on something so that I don't get the books covered in grease.

Thanks for the replies!!
I just ordered the 93 manual to help disect the wiring harness that has been hacked up!
I even found cut wires under the glove box... possibly door lock and window controls!

Thanks

Well so far so good! I was able to move it to my tablet! But I think the paperback might be a better choice! With technology being great if you had 2 or three screens available ok. The CD would be equal. It's just easier to put a few yellow stickies in a book to page back and forth. The CD was able to help me get the thing running to confirm that the motor isn't scrap. And should be sufficient to assist in the hemi swap!
