I am mounting new mirrors on the pickup. I need access to the inside of the door but I am stymied by the door panel. I have taken out 3 screws and all of the clips have released but the interior door handle is still attached. Do the bolts (on the handle mechanism) on the inside of the panel need to be removed to free the panel? (I did a forum search with no successhelp) psg

Pull the inner door handle to the open position and look for a bolt in the inside of the center of the handle. I think it's a 7/16 head.

It isn't that hard. Just pull the latch open and put something behind it to hold it that way. then put the handle and bolt back in.

Right, it's really not bad. I always use a short socket extension hold latch open, and the longer one to bolt the handle back on.
