I have a ‘65 A100 pickup that I’m putting a four link rear suspension into. My concern is the pinion angle. I’m thinking because the four link locks the rear in place and theoretically doesn’t allow it to rotate, then pinion angle is perhaps not as big an issue as say with stock suspension. Am I thinking right or not? Thanks for the help.

I'm thinking that you probably want the pinion angle to be pretty close to correct compared with the trans center line, if that was what you meant by not being a big issue. If the angle is 0 degrees, 3 degrees, 5 degrees, or 10 degrees, the theory is it wouldn't change through the suspension travel. I would want it as close to 0 degrees as I could get it. Gene

Even with that setup,I would still go 1 degree down, allowing for some flexing.

I agree with a little bit of flex.
