Quick gas tank question 1986 d150

Have a 1986 1/2 ton pick up with a crack in the gas tank. It's the 22 gal tank. Will the bigger 35 gal tank fit the short bed trucks? It's all I can find close to me?

I had a 92 1/2 ton shot bed w a 30 gal tank
so it should fit you will need the straps also

sure will. I swapped a smaller tank out on a short bed '88. and the straps are the same length...may need to reshaped them.
