Hood scoop ideas for 1980 up hood

Pics would be great.

local took the air vents off a bad '69 road runner hood and welded them on his truck hood...looked great.
and I had a '86 that the PO but the scoop off a Dart Sport on.

73-74 RoadRunner scoop grafted onto 87 Ram, my Daugther's rig

I have been looking for hood scoop ideas myself. As of yet I have not seen anything that I want and I don't want to do the same as other people, I have thought about getting one of the fiberglass ta hoods but that is not quite what I want so I will probably wind up just fabricating the hood scoop myself.

I have some pics I will try and post later. work sucks!

1 is a RC with a hemi shaker scoop grafted into the stock RC hood/also has the flip top gas cap from a charger on it.

I run a 68 Hemi scoop on my 88 440 truck. it is big and squarish and fits the truck well in IMHO.

think I have a pic of a T/A scoop on a truck also.

maybe a big areo scoop on a white one to boot.

That road runner hood is what I would like to do,,, Can't find a hood under 400 bucks. Figured someone would have a damaged one.. But no luck so far..

I also bought a repo Dart hood scoop like the first picture, have not installed it yet

The hood in my avatar is one of the fiberglass hoods I useto sell, it was based on the 72-78 with the 68-69 roadrunner bludge.

A cowl hood wouldn't look too bad other than resembling a square body chevy lol.

Like the roadrunner hood.

I agree gch! I had a cowl hood made for my old '77. Only problem is it has the distinctive ridge down the middle of the scoop.
