Lil Red Truck sheet metal

Lil Red Truck sheet metal - 04/02/18 12:05 AM

I need floor pans for my Lil Red Truck. I have been searching and found this so far:

http://www.lmctruck.com/icatalog/dc/full.aspx?Page=10
and this:
https://www.goodmarkindustries.com/c-2080-floor-pan-front-half-long.aspx

The LMC seems awfully cheap. I would suspect the quality.
Goodmark is probably lackluster quality, but it is just a floor pan.

Any other sources for Dodge truck cab sheet metal?

I may have floors from the 88 that I parted out. They were nice.

Let me know. If they're in sections, the shipping might not be too bad.

I cut it down the middle, the rust free cab corners, and rockers are still attached. It will be a few days before I can get pictures.

Dodgeconnection has some stuff. I've bought stuff from them (not sheet metal though), and like them. Small business, and I believe member here.

Here is where I ordered mine from last week. Should be here today.

Wow, after looking at all the other links, I feel great about the prices on the ones I bought. Hopefully the quality is good.

I would bet they are all coming off the same die though.

90% of the Replacement Sheet metal that's out there is Pressed by the same cheap place, except

Bit pricey but the are the best quality parts out there other than cutting a floor out of a rust free truck.

Floor pans and cab supports came in yesterday and I am impressed. Packed well and floor pans are made of pretty heavy material. Label says made in Taiwan.

Will see how the fit goes.

We will see on the cab supports, they look pretty crude.

If you don't like them, I have a set from autobody specialties I won't be using...doing a cab swap.

Not intending to highjack the OP thread, but I believe you are talking to me right basketcase?

So far I really like the floor pans and anymore shipping is a pretty big expense out here in the boondocks. They are made to fit both the 2wd and 4wd larger hump floors, you just have to cut the area away you don't need for the large hump.

Also, the hole for the cab mount bolts is not cut out, but it is formed, but that is no biggie to me.

Now that I have the old butcher job removed I have learned I am going to be needing the rear cab floor metal though and the patch panels for over the wheels on the bed if you have those available?
