tail gate handle

I'd like to add a locking tail gate handle to my early 2009 1500 Ram for added security with my trifold tonneau cover. It's a simple swap. I checked dealer prices for the parts - they're very proud of them, quoting me about $350. Salvage yards are bare. There are after market handles on line. Has anyone done this swap and what parts did you use?

Check out Bully locking tailgate handle. They are the best I have found. On my 2012 Ram 1500 R/T I went with the PopLock electric set up. Works with the normal door lock switches and the factory key fob. Took less than an hour to install.

I have the Bully manual locking handle on my 07. It was the first thing I ever changed on it. It's been 11 years ago and I'm very happy with it.
