17" STEEL WHEELS FOR '89 D250? - 02/23/17 01:36 AM
I've heard there are some chevy wheels that will fit.
Looking for a low buck way to put some 17" tires on my '89 D250.
Would like to hear from someone who's done it!

i know--i know---an 89 d250 is an 8 hole-----and those cool 17,s you see probably wont fit your truck because of an increase in the offset---so if you had a first gen cummins truck and you wanted those cool aluminum 16,s on a second gen truck you would find the front rim hits the tire rod end and the back rim wont fit over the rear drum----now on the even cooler 17,s you find the rear will fit and the front still is hitting the tierod---of coarse you can spend 100-200 on some cool wheel spacers....

Isn't there a ferd factory rim that will work on our 8 lug trucks?
Like a '92 or something?

Only newer wheels that I know personally to actually fit older dodge d250 and 350 single rear wheel. Is the 94-02 2wd 16" chrome steel wheels and painted steel wheels and 94-03 dodge Ram 2500,3500 van steel wheels. Offset is obviously not the same as the originals, but fits even with 235-85x16 all around

Thanks for all the help!
Anyone know the first year a 17" wheel was used on a 2500?
