92 Dodge computer flashed codes - 12/03/15 06:19 PM

My 92 Ramcharger is flashing a code 27 , check engine. I have tried everywhere to find what the code means is wrong and get conflicting answers as to what is wrong. The truck has a new rebuilt 5.2 first gen injected engine that runs great, it has less than 200 miles on it so far. the "check engine light comes on about 30 seconds after start up and stays on. All the sensors were replaced except for the 2 on the throdel body at the time of rebuild. No one around here has the factory dianostic tool for a first gen computer. Anyone have any ideas ? Any imput will be appreciated.

My info states that 27 indicates a fault one of the fuel injector control circuits.
A generic scan tool should be able to get the "P" code to pinpoint which injector is at fault (or wiring related to that injector.

Have you tried going to the local parts store and have them read the code? They should have both OBD 1 and 2 readers and will do it for free.

Sometimes code 26 and 27 are misleading codes. My 88 used to throw a 26 when it was misfiring b/c of a bad fuel pump and my 92 threw a 27 b/c of a wet/worn distributor cap. Neither one had a wiring or injector issue

The obd 1 and 2 readers will not work for a 92, the plug is a Mopar only 6 slot plug under the hood, and only a Mopar reader from 92-94 will read the fault codes. been tring to find one with no luck. ty for the info .
