Currently building a 87 shortbed with a 4.15 stroke 440 and ported 440 source heads. Cam guy told me that we need to use a 2" primary header. Does anyone know who's 2" headers work in a truck chassis?

the only ones I have ever heard of are the mad dog fenderwell headers. Hopefully someone else knows of some that fit.

Mad Dog headers told me they will not fit a D-100, they only fit 4x4.

ive seen b body headers work with a little work on the top flange of the frame rail

The 2" A-body tti's fit like they was made for them. Got them on mine. Only had to grind frame rail a little to clear #7 header tube. Put on with engine sitting in place from underneath without having to jack up engine.

I am looking at some of the Mad Dog A-Body headers for the Ramcharger. Unfortunately, I have a lot of work to do before I am ready for them.

Do any of these other than the fenderwell headers fit 4x4? Does anyone know?
Need some 2"+ step headers to fit 520 ci Max wedge ported EZ headed,, roller cammed, fuel injected 4x4? Don't really want to build them!

I tried A body headers on a 4x4 once, the passenger side collector hit the driveshaft. I run the crappy smaller tube ones on my 512 right now until I can buy a set of mad dogs.
