PICS...Some interior and under hood of my 69 D100.. - 05/25/15 02:32 AM

Well today I installed a new 26" 3 core aluminum radiator in the old 69, still had the original 20" 2 core in it and liked to run a little warm with the A/C on (about 3/4 on the temp gauge)..also removed the Magnum fan and clutch, then installed a Chrysler Sebring dual fan set up on it with the typical Bosch power relay hooked to ignition. The radiator was for a 69 A-body small block and fit very well, just had to fab up aluminum angle brackets and drill some holes on the original radiator core support. The biggest pain was the thermostat housing because of the Magnum brackets and pulleys on a 78 360 block with the Edelbrock intake on it made the a/c compressor lay right up against the long Magnum thermostat housing, had to go to the short stamped steel neck. The radiator hose's I used were for a 92 Ramcharger/PU with a 360 Magnum, had to do some trimming but they fit well. Now the truck doesn't even see half on the temp gauge with the A/C on and it was in the 90's today. Took some pics of the finished product and some interior shots of the truck too.

Thanks guys, always a work in progress, next on list is a B&M Mega shifter install(if you look at the pics of the shifter in the truck now you can see when the shifter is in park it hits the A/C unit), picked up the truck Mega shifter at a swap meet already for $100.00. Also gonna swap out carb, has a Quickfuel HR-580VS on it now and needs more CFM, going to a Quickfuel HR-780VS.

There never was a 26" radiator for a 69 Dart, you must mean 73-up? What is the company you got the rad from and the part number? I spun a bearing in my 69 383 D200, it only had 48K original miles and I had some bad overheating problems before the bearing spun, so I would interested to find out exactly which rad you got! Where is the bottom bung?

You are correct, went back and looked at application page it was for B and E bodies with small blocks, my mistake, I looked at so many and went by measurements plus hose inlet and outlet. It's part # is a KKS374, bottom hose is on passenger side and top on driver. Bought it off Ebay from a company called Radiators For Less, cost me $199.00 shipped. They also have them for big blocks, the only mods for me on the radiator was drilling 2 holes on each side bracket, adding 2 10" pieces of angle aluminum and drilling 2 holes on each side of my core support. Hope this helps...
