Does a 1987 D150 run a lockup converter/trans or not?It is a 318 2 barrel if that matters.I have no idea so help me please.
904 or 727 could be lock up in 87.

Could be either a 727 or 999 probably non-lockup. Driving it will tell for sure.
get the #s on the pan rail for ID.
never know what has been replaced since 87.

Can't really drive it far with the block poring water out of it like no tomorrow.Previous owner filled it with water last winter and it got into single digits more than once.
I haven't been under it yet either.
Putting a 360 together for it now and was going to add a little stall converter to it but I need to figure out what I have first.
