jeep dana 30 pinion swap?

do the jeep dana30 front ends have a crush sleeve to worry about or can you swap yokes and torque it to specs?

hope to swap out the CV style yoke on the 98 JGC 5.9 4x4 front end to a regular u-joint with bolts/straps.

Why not just get the correct drive shaft?

I think with the full time 4wd you want the cv drive shaft though I'm not sure why!
