Do you have more pics? Like from the side...I can't tell if it really has tires on it! Looks neat...I'm interested in the details, how did he lower it? My boys are building a 64 d100 right now too.

Yep, saw it on the HAMB!
I would have loved to buy it, but didn't have the cash. Last I heard, he got it back (previous sale?) and was back on track for SEMA '15.
Did he finish the 360 swap?

Here's a link to the thread...

and a you tube vid

EDIT: BTW, any chance you can make it to MATS?
Your buddy was going to bring it a couple years back but didn't make it.
I could try to get mine back running and meet up there.

Rod, Troy (the builder) did get it back, but just lost steam on the project, it came with the Magnum 360, just needs motor bounts and frame brackets, still has some other loose ends, but hopefully, illat least have it running/driving again soon! Wouod love to make the strip, but dont think its in the cards this year... I will have it at Hippy Killer Hoedown in Perris (chopper/car/van show) and may take it to the fling...

Yeah, we can all loose steam. I just got back onto my first van project after it sat for years.
I showed the mounts and brackets on the HAMB thread for him. If you have any other questions, post away. I'll try to answer them.
Great to see it moving forward!

Have any V8 mounts/brackets ya wanna sell? Gonna need a set, and would rather not mess with it at Pick-a-apart! This is my second A100, my first was a 66 no door, that I unfortunately sold a few years back.. Troy is in my car/truck club, so Ive been drooling on this one for awhile!

I'll check. I think I have two sets; one for the current project, one in case I upgrade the Monster van. If I have a third set I'll be happy to send them your way!
There hasn't been an A-100 in the local yard for a while. I got lucky and was able to strip a couple they had a while back.

I like it a bunch.
But, kinda cuts down on the "don't bother knocken if this vans a rocken" factor!

When I put my first motor in my A100, I just used elephant ears from the motor and bolted them to the side of the motor mounts. For the back, just used a 70's transmission mount and hung the tranny from a crossmember across the frame.

Worked fine until I put a tube frame under it.

You should ask over on sweptline.org since some over there have vans. Does anyone know if the bracket is the same as trucks?
