ABS Brake Light Help - 11/21/14 12:03 AM
My 97 Ram 1550 4WD with 252000 miles had the ABS/Brake light recently come on. I've troubleshooted it to the sensor on the rear axle. I don't have ABS, just the rear wheel. At this stage, I don't want to replace the sensor. How can I bypass the sensor to get the light to go out? Thanks

Why not replace the sensor? They are pretty cheap.

for around $30 at the local parts store it don't make sense to rig it so light goes out. They are easy to change as well.

Its "bypassed" right now....system throws code, system is disabled by presence of code. If you want lamp off..... Fix it.
