Big Block Motor mounts ? - 08/15/14 06:17 PM
Just picked up a set of motor mounts, was a 1985 4 wd truck with a 440 in it, Yes someone had built the truck.
So I will be putting a 1967 383 in a 1983 Ramcharger 4x4 frame ?
Anyone know if these mounts will work ?
Thank you

they should work, pretty sure they used the same style mounts until 93
2x mounts are different. they are straight - mine on the 440 truck are home made from 2x4 square stock.
78-BB 4x4 are off set and have a hole in driver side mount to clear the oil pump.
77-78 BB truck parts for swaps up to 87 chassis on 2x and 93 on 4x4
what do the mounts on the other truck look?

This is where people get confused. The Motor Mount is Actually the Rubber Insulator. The Motor Mount Brackets are what most call motor mounts. If it was in a 4wd it'll fit a 4wd. The 72-74 4wds with Divorced T-case used 2wd motor mount brackets when they married the T-case the 4wd ones Changed

Not to hijack the post, but can someone post pics of the 2wd mount brackets? Thanks.
