8 1/4 = 10 bolts or 9 1/4 = 12 bolts.

Mine had the Chrysler 8 3/8 and it was a D150, not a 100 as my signature states. The 9 1/4 was also available.

I think the last year of the 8.75 was 74, after that it was the 9 1/4

W100 were all 8.75 till 74. At least Early 74. I've come across a couple guys that claim there's is a 74 but Full-time 4wd So I assume they swapped mid late 74 in w series. but D100 73 had 8.75 and 8.25-8 3/8 possibly 9.25. My 73 Clubcab was a 8.25 if I remember correct. Not a 8.75

After 74/75 model changeover, the two choices for a 1/2 ton were an 8 1/4 or a 9 1/4. There wasn't much rhyme or reason for which one ended up in which truck. I've seen a fair share of what was suppose to be heavy duty trucks with the 8 1/4, and light duty trucks sporting a 9 1/4. I suspect a great deal of them depended on what was checked on the order form, or what happened to be around at the assembly line. Gene
