strut rod relocating, anyone else tried it?

Im toying with the idea of moving the strut rods to behind the control arms so im not plowing them into everything in the road lol. Anyone ever tried this?

Id thought of it since vans are setup that way.

So the vans are set up that way huh? interesting... I did not know that, I'm gonna have to take a peak at one in the boneyard next time I'm there and see how its set up... I was thinking about a set of b/e body adjustable rods and just makin a tab to attach them

I was also thinking of just raising the front mount

Vans are set up that way because their is no room to mount them the other way... I personally think the truck setup is a better one for handling purposes.
