Anyone ever seen a 4x4 with 2:94 gears?

The 82 truck I'm driving came from the factory with 2:94 gears and 10" rear brakes. I don't know what they were thinking when they ordered that truck. It's got an auto trans and I have to drive it in 2nd gear when I'm in the city and that's with 30" tires.

Yep had a 79/80 Parts truck that had them. What tire size does the tag say? I think its probably one that calls for 195/75 15s

I never thought to look at what size tires it came with, I will let you know.

I think the one I had called for 195s if not that one I know one did cause I was like WTF considering 31s also came stock and on a Fullsize 4wd

yes I parted out a 4x with 2.94 gears.....

Had a 88 3/4 4x4 with a cummins that had 3.08 gears... it was not a bad truck....

I bought a RC that had 2.94's front & rear with 31's on Turbine wheels

All I can say is it's great on the hi way, not much over idle at 60.lol

My '82 Ramcharger has 2.94s.
