Heater/Air blower switch 02 Ram 1500 ?????

on my 2002 Ram 1500 Heater/air switch. I turn the fan on high it works fine. I turn the switch to any other speed it doesn't I replaced the fuse under the hood. I take it out no fan speed. I put the new one in and only the high works. I took the switch completely apart and cleaned the contact, put it back together and still nothing but high works I do not want to be buying switches if that's not the problem thanks in advance

It needs a blower resistor.replaced quite a few at work.GMs were the worst offender.Should be under the dash near the blower motor.Should have a large black and a large red wire and usually 2 to 4 others that are smaller and different colors.Rocky
