Sorry for the crappy cell phone pics... Going back together now. Just got the newly rebuilt A518 in today, and relocated the HURST shifter a little further back, drop the engine in next weekend.... [image]

I'm re-using the seals that were in the Club Cab windows, they were in good shape and I used plenty of soapy water getting them out so they didn't tear. mine don't vent, I have seen newer ones that do...they would be nice.... maybe if I find some reasonably priced later on I'll swap them out.

Dropping in a rebuilt 1990 318 roller cam motor with mild ported/polished heads port matched to a Edelbrock Performer RPM intake, Holley carb. and hedman headers. Hope it's not too bad on gas (should do ok with the OD) cuz I'll be drivin' this one daily.

Motor goes back in.....motor lift plate broke at the welds about 2-3" from the motor mounts....Chinese made junk!!! hope the flex plate did not get bent...back at it tomorrow.

Yep and old ranch truck from Colorado.. I was so happy when i found it back in 2000! I hope when the kids grow up i can get another just like it.. i love those club cab short beds!

The truck looks great in Orange and i cant wait to see it in person!!

Twin 21mo old girls and a 5 yr old son.......

No more toys for daddy for a while.

I have a 72 crew cab short bed 2wd p/up sitting on the back burner... No plans for it yet.. Family cruiser maybe..

I'm seeing airbags, faux patina exterior, super clean interior and engine........ that truck is sweeeeet! I was originally looking for a crew and settled for the club cab! That one looks like a keeper! Eric, You guys ever do any more with the panel delivery?

The Panel is coming along.. Replaced some metal in the front floors and rockers. Still needs more work on the body among other things.. We have a 318 fabbed in there now but a 400/727 fell into my lap so we may drop that in.

so far all the components we've installed in the truck have been freebies..

87 dakota 2wd coil spring front end
8.8 ford posi rear with disc.
76 318 and 727
