Anyone hear about a 1of1 68 pilot SuperbeeHemi car?

I recently stumbled across this story about this particular hemi superbee pilot car found in the Florida everglades along with other superbees.The guy that had them raised.snakes and milked them to make anti snake venum.The front of the bee got destroyed by someone who worked on the car.

This story with pics was on Southern Bush Motor Sports...

I asked Ryan about it he said he believes it's the press release car.

Neat story but I do not believe the part about Chrysler wanting it back, that is absurd

States this is all 15-20 years ago... cant recall jack about the 71 bees, he bought both, naa he only bought one. Got all these pics except the 001 vin tag pic of the silver bee.

Dude crashed car so hard the half bolted together stolen #1 prototype car spit the hemi and 4 speed 400 feet out of the car... didnt matter as it was not stamped. Crashed because steering wheel might of been half tight.

Got mad calls/letters from chrysler wanting car back and offered 100x ... (Id of framed those so called letters) and when delivering he had people with handfuls of money and running his tag to contact him.


And the commenters for the most part just sucked it down..... sad times we live in.

Yeah ...this video and what was said keeps playing in my head.I don't know if what he was told was not bs.So the guy got drunk after getting fired,stole the loosly put together pilot car hemi superbee,loose steering wheel ..dropped a 8track tape went to pick it up and crashed into a tractor trailer and the hemi motor and trans flew out of the engine compartment? hmmmm

With 40 years in the mopar hobby I can honestly say i never heard about this wrecked bee. I rember hearing chrysler would buy some of thier special cars back or making offers on other cars.

It worked for the BS street racer challenger in Detroit he's hoping lightning can strike twice. Completely dumb story Chrysler wanting it back.

I havnt found anything about the car anywhere. I guess it'll be a mopar mystery. too early
