Dodge did not do any wind tunnel testing on the 1969 Charger 500
. I'm not sure when Dodge started making and selling their Dodge Daytona Chargers, I had seen a Charger 500 in late 1968 in Pomona, CA
FOMOCO did wind tunnel testing on both the NASCAR Torino and Mercury Spoiler Cyclones Hence the 1970 Plymouth Superbirds coming out to dominate NASCAR racing in 1970.
