iagree by the first couple of close calls by all three of them (four counting the girl passenger) the cops should have had the license plate number of this idiot and just gave up the chase before someone got hurt or killed. Not just talking about the three of them but some poor innocent soul or the girl passenger for what to give some stupid kid a ticket for speeding and evading the police? That just doesn't justify putting OTHERS in danger or death. IMO.

Letting any criminal get away with any crime involving pursuit in the name of public safety for the general public will encourage that criminal to try again puke
Catching and charging and convicting them and making the punish severe enough that criminal won't want to do that again is the only, in my opinion, of stopping them work
Our American justice system encourages acts like that by letting the criminals get away and then when caught the judges lets them off with a slap their wrists instead of punishing the crap out of them rant
It is too bad that one of the police cars couldn't cut the pursuit off by blocking the riders path whiney shruggy
Anyone know what country and date that happen in? help

Re: Insane Motorcycle Police Chase - 07/23/23 09:12 AM

But what if the cop got T-bone and killed coming out of one of those blind side streets, I guess it would have been worth it or would it? Still say they had the license plate and should have just waited for him at his front door. And as far as catching him and him never doing that again, I would say it gives them more reason to try to get away the next time. How many of those reality TV show chases end with a crash and the driver has had his license suspended or is a multi-time offender? Oh I forgot, then there's the multiply views on YouTube to consider that wouldn't happen if the just waited for him at his front door. That was nice Go Pro footage they got to post Cha cing $$$$ wink down

Re: Insane Motorcycle Police Chase - 07/23/23 04:32 PM

Bike could have been stolen, A friend borrowed it. Either way the owner wasn't committing the crime. And the girl should have tried to stop him from risking her life and others. At least the cop had a siren and lights to warn people. If this was in the US they would have been on an interstate doing tipple digit speeds. A few years i was on a two lane road(one direction) and a guy on a bike flew past me like i was going in reverse. I was doing 65-70 and if another car pulled into his lane there was no way he could avoid the impact. Stupidity plain and simple.

It is a danger for all involved and the General Public as well

Re: Insane Motorcycle Police Chase - 07/23/23 06:50 PM

We had an incident nearby a month ago. Guy on a crotch rocket driving extremely dangerously: splitting lanes at high speed, wheelies standing on the pegs on a 5-lane major city street, triple digit speeds on a 4-lane state road in Sunday afternoon traffic. Reports to 911 from a 20 mile stretch of road for several hours, going both directions. Several law enforcement agencies began chasing him but called it off quickly because he obviously had no respect for human life. Eventually, a pickup truck turned left in front of him and he t-boned it at over 100 mph. Not only killed himself, but both the driver and passenger in the truck.

That is why cops need to stop these idiots.

Dirty Harry would have taken care of it.

Who knows, maybe they committed a murder or some other serious crime.
I kept hoping for a tractor/trailer to pull out in front of the idiots running from the police. They wouldn't run anymore.
