I saw that as well. Or he is running it like a V-Bottom boat engine and has a rear accessory drive.

With the motor mounted that high, backwards, and that close to where the seat should be, I'd really to see how the trans/read end is set up.
kind of has the look of one of those plastic motors used to set up drive lines and such.

Appears the visible engine is a fake that sits above the actual engine cover. Maybe slant 6 power? Could be like the wild tubbed cars in the 80's with the stock engine. Fairgrounds cruiser?
