According to the Facebook post from the Western Taney County Fire Protection District (above), this Charger was a General Lee actually from The Dukes of Hazzard TV show.

It was not, Can anybody spot why it's not?

That is correct there were a couple R/T Chargers used in the series. One was a 440 4 speed R/T that was the favorite of the stuntman to drive. It was used for the high speed scenes and survived several jumps before meeting its untimely demise in the dry creek bed jump scene often shown in the opening credits. That jump held the record for the longest car jump at 83 feet.

Story sounds like a 10 year old wrote it - not a writer for a website named motor1.com.

Where did all the wrecked cars go and were they crushed? Or is there a secret stash somewhere?
