Ad blocker for youtube?

Hi, is anyone using an ad blocker for youtube? I don't mind a short ad now and then, but they are getting way out of hand.

You want uBlock origin, its not just for youtube, its for everything

Adblock Plus also blocks ads on everything. I never see youtube ads running Chrome and Adblock Plus

I have adblock on chrome and I still get youtube ads for some reason. I just installed the Ublock origin on brave and viola! No ads!

uBlock Origin put the smackdown on the maddening Infostinks ads here, for me! I never see them on You Tube...so apparently it works there for me also.

Been using Ublock Origin for years. 99% of all ads that aren't embedded don't show. Wonderful, is all I can say.

I use this and if an add slips in you click on the ABP icon and click on "block element" you then click on said ad and it will block it.

I have a Malwarebytes, a Malwarebytes extension on my Chrome Browser and optional extra security including add blocking on my eero home network.

One of them is blocking YouTube ads, don't know which one for sure.

How about for Android on the phone? What ad blocker app for that?

Unaware of any unless you root the phone which comes with its own set of issues (no more updates).

AdGuard blocks all YT ads. You can also use Brave.

I still have YouTube ads on my android. Any suggestions? I installed the AdBlock app, but it seemed to be an ad for TikTok when I opened it.
