Kendigit Monaco - 11/06/22 02:27 PM

Did anyone else see the Kendigit episode where they were working on the '74 Monaco Bluesmobile? Where they "couldn't find" the right brake booster so they swapped in some alien two stud booster and then proceeded to cut the ears off the stock four hole master cylinder and redrill it for the two hole booster? I'm watching this thinking that they have been watching way too much Roadkill. Just a complete hack job IMHO.

Yeah, I saw it. Pissed me off actually. Never mind the hack you mentioned, just the overall lack of respect if you will. I know they 'joke around' but this went a little too far for me.

I guess whatever pays the bills.........

Roadkill does a lot of hackery but even they would try to find another mopar brake booster before doing something like that.

i laughed at the pulley problems. they do awesome bodywork. makes me wonder about their mechanical skills though. 2 bolt master would have fixed that problem in 5 minutes. kevdog must have been told by the producer to be extra stupid that episode.

I turned it off right after that. Roadkill doesn't charge big money for their hackery.

Somebody needs to introduce Kindig Cars to Booster Dewey. They would have had the right setup.

It didn’t bother me as much as the horrific “music” they play on that show on a regular basis.
