Dante's is in New Jersey...

Last time I needed to talk to him he answered his own phone...

I've done both of my cars through him and wouldn't ever plan on going elsewhere as long as he is around...

Time for an old dog to learn a new trick... wave

Second vote for Dante’s. Best dealer I have found for many items, especially Legendary. Great service and knowledge.

thanks guys ! i knew you would come through ! up bow boogie
i had forgotten about Dante's !
in the 70's, i did several headliners, as well as a few other simple items such as door panels.
these were custom items however, and nothing remotely close to a restoration.
i'm not sure my old bones could fold around enough to do a headliner these days, but i can certainly coach a young buck through a quality installation.
the one thing that is very confusing to me, is why are there so many variations of the same color [in this instance, "brite blue" i think it's called] of materials used ?
i can see the molded plastic parts being different, but the arm rests being slightly off from the seat color, being slightly off from the dash pad ?
i realize different vendors having different shades of the same "material", but being off enough to stick out like a sore thumb seems odd to me.
could buying from the same outfit make the color match a bit closer ? or should the colors just be off "because" ?

I saw a '69 Roadrunner where the owner had dyed the entire interior the same exact shade and sheen of black. Looked like a black hole. If you look at a stock black interior, the dash pad, the carpet, the seats, the headliner are all just a little bit different shade of black. That contrast was much more appealing. I am going to assume (there's that word again) that other colors were similar.

Do you have a fold down rear seat? If so I have a pattern for the wheel house carpet and an series of pictures of doing the carpets.
I worked in floor covering for over 40 years. Installed carpets In below decks on large rich guy yachts, and built display boxes in fir a large big box chain stores.
Here's my 73 Dart Sport 340. Differant shades of black like stated above.
