Funny thing is, I think every "major" news outlet covered Joey's win, most with video of him stuffing hot dogs in his mouth. Same old thing, he's won several years in a row.
None of the mainstream coverage I saw showed this clip in which a disruptive protester-type punk gets grabbed by the throat and thrown to the ground by the all American hot dog eating champ. That is the real story. 'merica!

Yes, I'm glad Joey fought back that idiot , during his live 4th of July Competition . I clicked on ESPN at noon , expecting to watch the U.S.A. Nathan's show , but some foreign tennis show was on , so I turned off the tube and went back to work on my 68 Coronet leaf springs . I caught the Nathan's update at the end of the day .
