I like a Chevelle but that's not a Chevelle, it's a Camaro with various parts that kind of look like a Chevelle but not really. puke

Change the grille and it could be a Firebird

I agree! My 1st car was a 70 Chevelle and I'd love to get another.....however, that's not it!!

Meh. Don't like the way the grille is pointed downward.
Personally I like the '69 styling better than the '70 anyway.
The greenhouse in the last couple of Camaros is too short as well, it's like a mail slot.

Just another non-Mopar. I don't much care for anything GM, modern or past. There are several reasons I spend time on a Mopar board.

I just came here on this thread to complain about another Chevy on the Mopar board! Other then making me feel better, I know its not going to make any difference with the Chevy lovers in hiding here.

I feel better!

If GM was smart they would bring back the chevelle. Its a multi purpose vehicle, could even be its own brand like Bronco. It can be a super crazy HP SS coupe, a 4 door, a wagon, a truck etc. From mild to wild with one marketing budget. I'd get creative and go after subaru with the wagon, make it AWD and then sell an elcamino version. It would be a roaring success #fact

Ford would then copy them with a new Torino or Fairlane that did all the same stuff and Mopar would be stuck with a 4 door charger - they could get them into the ultimate headlock (devils advocate)

I think GM really missed the boat by not using the 04-06 GTO as a Chevelle instead of giving it to Pontiac.

Anything made off the Camaro is not good looking because the Camaro sucks to start with.

They drive good, almost bought a SS 1LE a few years back, drove awesome, like sitting in a bath tub...but I would have got use to it and those things handle like they're on rails.

Many years ago I went from a 71 Dart as a driver to a 70 Chevelle Malibu 350. Step backwards across the board as far a driving went - steering, brakes, rear visibility, heater, ect. were worse on the Chevelle.

A lot of that may have been body on frame to unibody. Unibody just drives better, not as durable, but they drive way better. My BOF 4runner flops all over the place, whereas a Grand cherokee drives like a honda civic.

Fugly. Looks all out of proportion. Similar to alot of high dollar but hideous looking SEMA builds.

I dislike more that I like. I think the T/A is better proportioned.

Actually better looking than the current Camaro. IMO, I would get rid of the ugly Camaro and start producing the Chevelle. They would probably sell more cars that way.

I like the 70 Chevelle styling, always have, best year styling/performance wise......but this new "version" is pretty much like the "new" Challenger, looks like a stack of drywall going down the road with a caricature body wrap.....

I don't think it's so terrible, from the side it looks good to me, I don't like the flat looking front and rear, they sort of look air brushed on flat stock.

I always like the 71-72 Chevelle more than the 70

Only so much you can do with the ugly Camaro tho, and this is better than the Firebird version
