Did you look at the build? Far from stock pro touring style build, probably had $100-200K in the build. That's ok, a Suburu Brat sold for $33k...LOL Stock market took a huge hit today, look for cars selling high the next few days... work

I believe so...Mr.Norms supercharged 71,72 demons don't go for that much that I've seen.

70 Dart 340 on Ebay went for $95,600 about a month + ago. It appears that the asking prices for Slant 6 and 318 A-body cars are now creeping up where the decent 340 cars used to be. Many ratty projects start at 10 thousand now.

HemiCudas set the high end money standard for our muscle cars. Are A bodies now raising the floor?

Well the 72 Demon Supercharged GSS is on the block again on Friday, sold it at MECUM 2013 for $65K, wonder what it will do this time? We have sold a couple restomod Demons for $100-120K and a survivor 71 Demon for $120K around that time also. wave

I just happened to catch the last half of the repeat of the Demon going through last night. I didn't get to hear the description. Was that a painted top on it? It seemed more gray than black. Aftermarket wheels. Frankly, it didn't strike me as a particularly attractive car. What did I miss that makes this A body such a top shelf unit? shruggy

Dart for 42K - the brown one ? Maybe a decent mid-20s car if that's the one, but I didn't pay much attention to it.

Yes the brown Dart ('72/73??) had a 383/auto with tan interior I believe...also some non factory striping down the sides, can't remember the wheels....sold for $42k. They didn't have too much commentary on it as they were just coming back from a commercial break IIRC. The Petty Blue Mr. Norms GSS supercharged Demon was just plain gorgeous! drool

I was on the build team for that Demon GSS in 2006, we sold it at Mecum Indy 2013 for $65K. It only racked up a few miles since then! Still looked just as it did when we sold it... up

That car was gorgeous! I spent a half hour looking it over today, I don't know why Iggy sold it, or the 69 R6 Cuda too, both of these would be keepers!
