Took myself back to the future.

Took my new ride out for a spin and snapped some pictures. Still have a few bugs to work out with the carb. Tank was empty, so it should sit a bit lower with a full tank.

Thanks for the nice comments. Was searching on an off for about 10 years for one of these cars. I really liked how futuristic these cars looked. Would have been cool to live during this time.

Born in 1951, I did live during that time, and it was indeed pretty dang cool.
Always some fear about Russian nukes, but otherwise a great and simple and optimistic era.
I'd go back in a heartbeat !

Hey, you ought to come in for the CEMA show at CTC on Sat. 6/11. This show draws in some really nice cars from out of state & even Canada. I would love to see this!!! VERY SHARP!!!

When seeing pics like this it’s hard for any person to understand how many cars are made in a year! This was a drop in a buckets, 133, can you imagine 100,000 stretched end to end?! In 1964 Ford sold 4 million Mustangs !!!

I looked this show up on Facebook. Looks like a good time. I already have some prior plans on that weekend, but you can bet I will try and get up there next year.
