I've shipped a few 4 speed transmissions through them and they arrived safely for about $70
I wouldn't hesitate to ship an engine through them twocents

Fastenal has offered Blue Line Freight for many years. There is no name change, as you’re implying.

Fastenal use to offer coast to coast shipping with their own subsidy trucking Blue Line freight, they stop offering nation wise shipping several years ago whiney why I do not know shruggy
they were very reasonable and delivered to their store nearest you to pick up in a decent amount of time up
No overnight or two day shipping but they were a lot cheaper than Fed Ex Ground and UPS Ground boogie
Not all changes are good for every one shruggy

Every time I got a quote from Fastenal is was higher than FedEx, everything had to be in a wood crate and they didn't provide insurance so I never used them. Guess they gave everyone else better rates than me. shruggy

Maybe not “several years”....Rather, it started in 2019.

Does it have to strictly be a “wood” box on a pallet?

Can you use one of those large “Tuff Box” plastic toolboxes, or similar,
and strap or shrink wrap that to a wooden pallet?

The fiberglass Dart hood I shipped through them was in a huge cardboard box and strapped to a pallet they provided when I got there... twocents
