Happy Hemi day

Nothing really to celebrate in this day/age. Dodge has beat around the word "HEMI" so bad, might as well as say "It's Got A Motor", for all that most drivers care.
My old 82 Challenger had a 2.6L "Hemi" head motor,

The A12 "Lift-Off-Hood registry group likes to think of it as the second Scheduled Production Date "window" of April 26, 1969 426 for the A12 package cars. The first date was March 29, 1969 for 1,000 total cars of which 500 were to bee Super Bee "Six Pack" cars and 500 to be Road Runner 6BBL cars. Of the 500 each 300 were to be 4-speed and 200 to be automatics of each Super Bee and Road Runner. They were all sold or ordered immediately so another SPD "window" of production was set for April 26, 1969 426 and another approximately 1400+ Six Pack Super Bees were scheduled along with another 900+ 6BBL Road Runners. Ironically IMO the A12 package were similar to the Dodge Challenger DEMON in their planned market and customer and again ironically both had a production run of 3,300 total cars...........coincidence? I think NOT Oh and there was talk about the Demon's hood scoop being the largest hood scoop ever or at least on a Dodge.....well the math was done and the A12 hood scoop is LARGER in opening area.

I've got the hemi cross ram model displayed in one of our cabinets.And I wore my new 426 hemi t-shirt I got from wearmopar.com

So today, tomorrow and Friday do the Chevy guys do Wednesday 4-27 and the Ford guys do 4-28 and 4-29 over on their Chevparts and Foparts Hmmmmmm maybe they should all be combined into one "National Displacement Day"

and the Buick 421,425 & 430 And the 400 really was a 401. Pontiac 421. Chevy 402, then the March Chevy's 302,305,307,327 Ford 302 Pontiac 321

And let's not forget HEMI Liter Days of 5.7, 6.1, 6.2 and 6.4 that are all coming up. Guess we'll have to expand National Displacement Day to National Displacement Months for March, April, May and June...........then with the 440 plus engines and all of the other big, big block July for those +7 liter engines too.

Wait a minute! Where's my 440 day?!

Probably need to convert it to liters. Probably going to be 7. something, just round it up to the next single decimal point.
