Anyone Order From Filter1 lately?

I've ordered from Filter1 (filter1.com) for years for my wix filter needs. I recently placed an order (10 days ago), my credit card was charged, but I haven't seen / heard anything. I tried calling them today, and got a recording to leave a message, which I did. I called back later, and got a message saying that their mailbox is full. Did something happen? Does anyone know anything about the situation? I can obviously dispute the charge with my credit card company, but didn't want to do that before checking here. My next step is to try and email them, and if I don't hear anything by the end of the week, I'll be canceling the order.

I had some issues myself recently with them. I am still waiting on a partial order….I posted about it on a thread they have here under deals. Will post a link if I can find it again. They do not like to return calls/emails that’s for sure…..

i ordered a case of 51515's on 11/5/21 last year.
it was shipped the same day, and i got the order several days later.
i realize the shipping snafu's prevalent today, [my wife is still waiting for an order from bed bath and beyond, placed in january, and is ready to cancel] but i don't know what to think now about filter 1.
the filters i ordered fit everything here. we don't drive much anymore, so a case will last a long time, changing oil at 2500 miles.

If 1 filter is on backorder in your overall order, they will hold shipping until they receive the full order. Had that happen to me last summer. But I was able to get them on the phone and they explained.
They have the same challenges as everyone else trying to obtain filters. Sadly Amazon is turning more reliable, as you can snag a deal as good as Filter1 if you keep checking when they come in stock.

Moparx, this has been my experience with every order I've ever placed with Filter1 in the past, leading up until this most recent one.

I completely understand if something is on backorder, however, I can't even get them on the phone or via email to confirm whether or not anything in my order is actually in stock or not. I just basically wanted to make sure I wasn't overreacting, or if something happened to the seemingly one person who runs the place. You know if they are in the hospital or something, and I was unaware, that'd be a completely different story. I'll keep trying, but as of this morning phone rings a few times and then I get "the mailbox is full" message.

I place a large order last year, found out in Feb. that they had put in 6 part numbers I didn't order and couldn't use. I called them and was told by the new owner he would take care of it and send me a "will call tag" to return them, has not happened yet
I'll call them again and offer to ship them back on a exchange basis for some I can use

Oh that happened to me too, about 2 years ago. They did eventually send UPS to pickup the extra filters. Sadly wasn't ones that would fit anything I had.

I will still use them in future, but not for anything I need in a rush.

*** UPDATE ***

I decided yesterday that enough was enough, and logged into the website to manage my credit card. When I looked at the charge, there was a different (non 1-800 number) listed. So I decided to call that number. Someone answered on the second ring.

I asked "are you affiliated with Filter1?" The guy says "well sort of". I explained my situation to this guy, and he asked for my name, number, and city / state which I provided. He said "I'll give your information to the person who handles this and have them get back to you". This was 11:45 AM yesterday morning, and I still haven't heard anything. I'm going to call again today, and if by 5 PM I don't have a return phone call, email, or tracking information, I'm going to dispute the charge with the credit card company.

They used to be very reasonable but were pretty pricy the last time I ordered. Our local NAPA actually had better prices.

I never heard back from anyone, so again, I called the number listed on their site last week, and finally got someone to answer. He didn't apologize or anything, just asked for my information and looked up my order. He said he would move it "up" in the picking list and that I would see a shipping confirmation email late on Thursday (3/17). As of yesterday (3/21) I still hadn't received anything, so I have entered a dispute with my credit card company. I've tried multiple times to call / email these guys and I get nothing. It sucks, I used to have nothing but great things to say about them!

*** UPDATE from 3/22/2022***

I received a shipping confirmation email with tracking number around 7:00 PM on 3/22 (a day or so after I filed the dispute with my credit card company). Filters are supposed to arrive on Saturday, if they are correct, I will drop the dispute, but didn't want to cancel it until I have the correct quantities / part numbers in my possession. Sucks that it had to come to this.
