First off, I am a stick guy, both my VL21 and my mustang convt are sticks.

But be honest, that 8 speed is such a good working trans you can't beat it.

My Ram is a 8 spd, no choice, but I really like it. BTW, v6.

And if you want to do long smoky burnouts like the utubers the nearly instant shifts are the way to go.

I'm a stick guy too but these new autos are pretty impressive. I have a 18 Mustang GT with the 10 spd auto. Put it in sport mode and lean on the throttle a bit and that thing ticks through the gears quicker than I could ever shift a manual.....before ya know it you're in triple digits and haven't even broke a sweat. Fun as hell!!
