Actually I'm unsure if entire Hotel or our "discount" block ? ? ? ...... Hotels usually have "some rooms" available for the "right price" .......

Just FYI ...... Mine was $139.00 + ( FEES ! ) total was very close to $160.00 with multiple 'local taxes' & other 'fees' ........

I paid over $200 a night for Fall Fling...I'm thankful for the club rate for Spring Fling.

Milodon is going to be out with a new big display in the Midway.

Schumacher Creative Service will have product for sale in Midway.

I plan on being there. I'm on the fence about swapping. The Airtel was secure about leaving out stuff, gear, rides and families when we stayed there. I know nothing of how safe these other places are or how secure the hotels lots are. for the nearly 29 years I attended the show, I have very interesting stories of stuff that happened to our group before getting situated at the Airtel Hotel.

Also, nice to see that Schumacher Creative Service is back in business. Did someone buy the company and take it over?

The alternate hotel has a gate they close overnight. But yes, its new to us.

There’s people that stayed at Carriage Inn last Fall Fling and I heard no issues.

The Carriage Inn is great. Close to the show. The only issue with it is have fun trying to get a trailer in there. As in, NO.

I just got back from the MATS and it was their best swap meet in few years so the Fling should be KILLER.
I'll be rolling in Friday afternoon as always.

I haven't seen much reported about the Vegas show.

I liked Vegas. Huge turnout in the race area, autocross was well attended with quite a slew of Mopar's plus lesser cars. HA! The car show was not very well attended by any of the brands, huge amount of open space in that lot. There was a gent with a Daytona in the tent section that DROVE IT FROM COLORADO. Pristine car. Had put clear bra on it for road rash protection. Came through the snowy weather. Also a young gun with a 70 Monaco wagon that drove from South Dakota with its turbo'd 400. One couple from Florida trailered, open in their case, their two 68/9 Plymouth's to the event. Met up with friends from so-cal and raced the cars.

The spaces we have Pre-Registered seem to be in the bigger size.

Figuring last Fall Fling swap was Spring Fling sized… I guess this Spring Fling will be KILLER sized ?

We’ll be parking swap with no big gaps.

FYI everyone, the Congo’s Park Best Western is not $139 show price and is $260 a night and they said they did not have any specials. Also the other location is out of the group rate $139 specials.

Miguel, I don't think that anyone here is going to travel to the Congo for a car show. I doubt there are any Mopars there.

Stoopid spell check. Canoga Park is what is says and the Congo, well it’s probably 4-wheelers going to that event. 🤣

I appreciate the hard work the members of the CPW club do every year to make these events something for everyone to enjoy.

I’ll check Monday and see if Carriage Inn can open more Show Discount
rooms. Or if they have any left

Then see if I can check with Canoga Park BW. When I looked in January they had $140 range rooms. The closer you get to the show the rates unfortunately go up.

Survivor 1 owner, 73k mike so cal 340 duster for sale in swap.

New swapper from Utah with really some cool 2nd and 3rd gen Charger parts. 68 complete 3 speaker dash, 71 r/t doors, etc. 71-up truck parts, lots of road signs, big spot.

Even more common parts like person clearing out their garage with a 360 std bore short block under that sounded reasonably priced.

Those are just snippets of some of the swap banter feedback.

And bigger than normal spots.. lots of 60’ (3 spots) sellers. We’ll be parking swap tighter than last few years in anticipation.

Yes, there will be T-shirts. I don't know the design. We have a club volunteer that works that with California Casuals and their artist.

lets just hope they are not purple and orange. normal colors please.

Swap meet Mystery Shopper

Black, Ash, and White. But there will be a few high impact colors available early Saturday until they run out.

Get T-shirts at least before noon Saturday to make sure to get your size. This show is going to be big we will run out at some point. I’m sure we ordered with past shows numbers months ago.

Can't wait. Soo want to sell, but I want to scavenge te show swap area too!

Get swap spot and don't unload until you look around. And use a preferred parking and home base. You typically do that anyways, right?

Anybody need a hotel room reservation for the carriage inn friday and saturday nights? before i cancel (sunday afternoon) i dont know if its transferable or not but can try. i can call and ask. this isnt a paid room, just the reservation. pm me and ill check if i can transfer it to somebody else.

The show was great and Steve did a kicka$$ job with the swap as usual. Friday setup is awesome.

Had a great time and I sold enough to afford gas to go home to. Next year, I hope to not be swapping and have a real mopar to enjoy there. Thank you steve and your club members for putting on a good show!
