This place is freaking stupid , to try and post something for sale.
What the hell your to add to some stupid post already started!!??
Why isn't isn't set up better?

Perhaps instead of complaining in the wrong forum,you may want to ask how to post an ad or read on how to post an ad.

reply to the post and change the title to what you are selling if I remember correctly.

There is a two year college course on how to use forum. Really easy after your done and get a Master’s degree in posting.

I always thought it was simple enough - you hit reply, change the title and post your ad.

For some it is.

But Forming A Sentence 101 is a prerequisite.

I never said I went to college. I need couple courses myself just to post youtue video's here.

While I don't share the topic starter's negative feelings about Moparts, I can understand why for some it seems counterintuitive to "reply" in order to post something. Once you figure it out, trial and error at the most, it's actually pretty easy.

Just ask for help! That's sorta what this place is all about.

At the top of the forum listings are the directions.

The funny thing is that on an average quarter there are probably close to 1000 ads or more - but this lurker thinks the site sucks 'cause his pea brain can't figure it out !

He managed to post a parts wanted ad in July.

Unrelated but just as goofy......My brother couldnt boil water for a year after he stopped drinking but was smart enough to file for divorce.

I'm curious, what would you suggest to make it better? Honest question.

Most forums/sites has a dedicated section for stuff to sell, and you can create a thread on each for sale item.

Thus, people can reply/comment on that one item.

You know...I've pondered this question heavily since the day you posted it and tonight I've finally reached a conclusion. It must be to weed people out.

This site is antiquated but it is free, it's fun. and it has been the same for a long time, it's familiar.

While we're on the subject of posting, I have no problem with the site regarding ads, pics, threads, posts etc....but I recently received a PM with pics, something I thought was not possible, I asked the PM sender how he posted pics along with my response back to him, but I never got a response....so I'll ask here, how does one go about attaching pics to PM's

I don't use photo sharing site. In posts I just add from "photo library"

https://imgur.com/ I've been using imgur for a couple of years now. It's free and very easy to use. I don't think I'd use it for long term storage, but for posting the occasional photo its great. And I really like being able to 'drag and drop' a photo to there from a website.

I don't have a problem with how the website is set-up but it is different then other sites I frequent. This site makes you reply to the other "for sale" posts. You don't get your own page/thread(what ever you want to call it) On other sites you make a new thread of your own. People are able to reply to it just like any other post on this site. You don't have to take care of all the details through PMs. You can ask questions exc right in the "for sale" post. Sounds to me that's what the OP has an issue with...for some reason.

Since this post was moved from the Q&A section, the OP might never find it. He's probably looking for it where he posted it.

Because he failed to read that the Q&A section is for Mopar tech only.
Seems to me his ability to read is what sucks here.

I can't think of one "perfect" car forum. There are at least half a dozen versions out there and they all have their pros and cons. But you learn to adapt and live with each of them. Or you don't participate. That's my take on this.

This! I used a "photo sharing" site one time, and it made people pay for it after a while, don't even know if it is still live. I won't use a site I have to pay for, not my problem...
