I'm a big fan of the plaid interior, and the wood trim, too. I really dislike the boring gray/black guts that most vehicles come with. I will go out of my way - and have - to get an interior with character. But hey, that's just my preference. It's good to have choices, if the automakers thought the majority of people would buy a plaid interior I'm sure damn near every car would have it. Like gray and black...yawn
I'm fine with the plaid cloth, not really a fan of leather or vinyl for a seat surface. Don't mind the simulated woodgrain, either. Nice to see a different interior from the usual stuff.
The shaker is not Gold colored Otherwise yes I would buy it because of the color and plaid interior. Granted I am a fan of green, brown and especially tan cars.
Big fan of the odd interior cars, and still own one. I like to effort, but the plaid pattern is too large in my opinion. If they reduced the pattern size and made it closer to the old style it would fit in much better IMO.
And calling the paint hue 'Rotten Avocado' doesn't help to sell the image either. They couldn't come up with something better? How about ' Avocotive ' ?
Poor description in that article - Mopar posted it on facebook with better pics. I love the throwback look!
"We took a 2020 limited-run Challenger R/T Scat Pack 50th Anniversary Edition and gave it a throwback treatment. The result is the Holy Guacamole concept, with a cold-air intake, conical air filter and optimized air box for improved airflow and performance."
I love more hemi orange paint on the motor, raised white letter tires, and the ghost stripe
Not like that. Looks like a 70's Jeep/AMC interior.
Yup,and I think it would be cool if they did some Levi version interiors with complimentary exterior colors...blue,orange,red,etc. I think overall it is a great looking package, especially the Magnum 500 styled wheels.Much better than the blackout trend so common now. RT
Based on what I saw at SEMA last week, plaid seats are a current trend. I'm OK with it. I liked the whole package with this car (woodgrain, Polyglas, ghost stripe, etc).
FYI, Dodge placed this car in the general show parking at Roadkill Nights back in August along with a black new Charger with the old "Dodge" script emblems, '68 style dog dish caps and I believe at least one Fratzog on it (in addition to the ones on the dog dishes). I preferred the Challenger but the Charger was cool, too. Sadly, a lot of people walked right past both of them and never noticed the subtle touches.
