What are you using on your floor jack to prevent marring?

Looking for feedback from the forum on what type of material/creative idea you have on your floor jack lifting disc to prevent marring on the vehicle underbody components. I have an old Hein-Werner jack with no protective insert on the lifting point disc.

I use a piece of wood I cut to size wrapped in towel.

Block of wood with either a towel or rubber pad on it.

Thanks for this i love it! Also guys, would it be difficult/cost effective to maybe find out if friends or family has a 3d printer and make one? Just a thought....

My cars aren't restored so any marks from the floor jack is already done. But when I'm lifting something tthat does need extra care I use a strip of rubber like a chunk of tool box liner.

I've always used hockey pucks.

4 inch piece of 2x4.

I use this style. Works great and won't fall off the jack if its the right diameter.

You'd have to ask them.

I don't worry much about under the car because it's already scuffed up from years of jack stands and jacks prior to me getting it. I did zip tie a pool noodle to the handle to keep that from bumping on the paint/trim when jacking up the car.

A piece of thick carpet.

I tried one that you can get through NAPA (black one in the pics below). It has that awful Chinese rubber smell and cracked after several uses. Years ago I bought the orange ring off an eBay seller. It is incredibly tough and works great, I just wish I could find another like it that is a bit larger.
