Why post an ad to sell some thing and then just become a ghost?

Well. That isn't very nice when a member posts an ad and will not respond.....I don't see the ad anymore...

Don't know the person, but I suppose Moparts may not be immune to the social ills that plague the rest of the interwebs.

I've had one or two guys respond to a parts ad and then drop off the face of the Earth, and a couple of ridiculous offers...

He's real. I purchased some parts from him last week. He is local here to me, and is a nice gentleman. Engine and race car are legit...saw it for myself. Try his email. jijc@yahoo.com. Perhaps from different email addresses, as yahoo randomly blocks some emails.

Did a mod delete his other ad? Yesterday, I posted a link to his ad, then a short time later his ad was gone, but his profile showed he hadn't been on since the day before.

Myself, I'd move on.

I am the one who deleted the ad. When a member removes himself from a pm,I can only assume that the item has been sold or is no longer for sale. Sellers...Please mark your items sold so this does not continue to happen Thank you.
