New Wing Style For Mecum Challenger

Supports appear to be mounted too far back on the sloped portion of the deck lid and the wing angle is obviously not right. Fixing it requires welding and repainting the trunk lid all over again? Ugh!

Too far back, and it looks like the wing and supports are mounted backwards.

Seems crazy that people just guess on stuff like this if they don't know where or how it's supposed to fit together, especially on an expensive car.

Good grief, the provisions for the wing mounts are part of the stamping inside the decklid, are they not? These people are idiots!!

Whats the problem? He wanted his car to "stand out" amidst all the others there and get discussed.
Or can claim "factory mistake" & it's a 1 of xxx known to exist.

I think the peditals,are on backwards. Makes you wonder what other things are done that way as well.
If that did not give a quick fix to the hack job as far back as it is so ce they care not and is an au tion car wonder if a T/A duck bill woukd cover the holes if swapped for a quick fix.
Since welding and whole repair repaint is needed to fix wing.
That color is hard to match.
I had my car damaged after a,whole painting of car. It was before leaving the body shop and just another day with same paint was off.
Even after playing with it still off if ya knew where to look.

That’s one of those things that leave you shaking your head and wondering what were they thinking when they installed it. Or more likely what were they smoking, drinking or injecting?

Please advise us on how it is fake. Is it the discoloration (yellow hues) around certain number of how some number/lettering really pops when you zoom in?
I am very interested in how to detect fraudulent documentation.

so would the guy making them unfortunately I'll only point out that they are created without the benefit of actual documentation = FAKE
