Mars has only traces of oxygen, not enough even for mushrooms. I don't know what these things are.
Mushrooms don't need as much fresh air as we do, but they still need it. Without any air exchange carbon dioxide levels build up and your mushrooms will emerge as stunted, spindly things that are all stalks and no caps.
Mars' atmosphere however is 95% carbon dioxide, 3% nitrogen, 1.6% argon, and it has traces of oxygen, carbon monoxide, water, methane, and other gases, along with a lot of dust.

The chicoms will eventually bring them back here and it will be just another method to infect the world population with.
