Skil is now owned by Chervon. This is the same company that owns EGO battery powered outdoor power tools like mowers and leaf blowers. Sounds like some of that EGO battery technology made its way to Skil tools.

and the amount of this current is mostly limited by how well the battery is cooled.
The Skil ad emphasizes a new material is used inside the Skil battery to wrap each cell and carry away heat.
Remember: if anything goes wrong a fire from a $29 Li battery
can burn down your $150,000 garage or house
