I was trying to count usable parts on that car and quit after about 3 of them. LOL

I would in case the skull in plastic, use it for a shift knob, and throw the rest away.

Still it would be nice to see somebody legitimately save it.

It'd take a lot of love and a burning desire for a '68 Charger to resurrect that.

Theres a guy on youtube that fixes ones like that all the time, all he says that matters is the inner structure - even as that guy said, once the panels are all cut off it'll look the same as any rough car being done right.

I can tell you right now, the "inner structure" of that car is just as shot as what you can see - lots of rust everywhere. That car will need ALL new sheetmetal - including the roof. There will be virtually no OE sheetmetal left of the car. Might just as well re-body it & just not tell anyone. Save what? $20-grand on labor?

There is almost no such thing as a second generation Charger parts car anymore!

Yup, rebody is hard to do when so much of what is left of the 68-70 project cars all need serious work. Price of entry on those, no matter the condition, is always above Road Runner or Coronet money. They are cool and everyone knows it.

Guess you guys don't watch Grave yard cars. You can get almost everything for these. GYC has one with all the replacement sheet metal mocked up. Lot of work but any Charger saved is a good thing.

I bought this one for $500 in August of last year, it's getting saved. It has good bones! I have all the new AMD sheetmetal for it already.
