Reminds me of when I was a kid. The back end of my challenger had one bald tire and one decent tire.

It snowed and I went driving around. The limited slip got traction enough with one tire so when the road got slick I was driving almost sideways.

The salvation army tried to stop me and asked if I needed help getting home.

I just said no, but thanks, and kept driving.

The video isn't clear, but will it steer the other way? Tighter turn radius is very handy, and probably more useful than crabbing

I have seen several Chevy trucks doing the crabwalk as they roll down the highway

That's no lie. In the snow some of them leave 4 tire tracks...

Many years ago I had a car do that after it was in a accident and it wasn`t repaired properly.

Chevy Novas (a LOT of them!) used to do that! You'd be behind one driving & it was like an optical illusion. What exactly caused that??

My 81 Olds Ninety Eight with a bad rear control arm mount used to be able to do that too.

This system reminds of the GM Quadrasteer from the early 2000s. I saw a GMC Sierra with the system driving the highway crab walk style because the system was broken.
