Delay in mopar collector guide artival - 02/08/21 02:06 AM

Has anyone had a problem getting there most recent issues of MCG? I have and called them and they asked me to be a bit patient that they were running a bit behind, that was ten days ago and have yet to receive the missing copies.

I got one a few weeks ago on a Saturday. On the next Monday I got another one. A buddy said he hadn’t seen the issue come yet when I asked him about a feature car.

Spoiler alert, every car in MCG is a 'one of one'. laugh2

I had the same thing happen as SomeCarGuy; I guess the 1st one was that late, but receiving mail is spotty in my area.
For all I know, the postman reads my magazines before me.
MCG seems to be having some kind of problem; their online classified ad submission doesn't seem to work.
The hyperbole in every article, and inaccuracies in at least half of them, is getting tiresome enough that I've likely renewed for the last time.

Yep. Their facelessbook page added to the confusion by talking about the March issue one day (being mailed) and then the next day something within the February issue. Now it appears that the April issue is online.

BTW - I received my February and March issues (in separate bags) this past Saturday.

Well another 18 days and no magazine’s. I hope they are coming and there is not another issue.

I haven’t read one of these mags in years. Are they still worth reading? Do you think MCG will survive in the long run?

I've been getting mine on time, or close to it. It's well worth getting.

Well, you'd think these magazines would load up all of their Hacks, show up on your doorsteps, and personally read their stories to you guys...........after all there can't be more than 5 or 6 of you keeping them in business?

Thank goodness for the internet.

Ha! Lots of feelings probably got hurt with that comment. I will say this: I started my subscription in 95 and let it lapse in 2007. I inherited the whole pre 95 collection from a friend. I thought it was a very unique platform for a while. It was solely based on just the cars and sales. The other mopar only subscriptions I had filled the tech department adequately.

I got really tired of a lot of the same stories, and as TA said, it felt like every issue was packed full of " 1of 1" cars. I'm not an enormous fan of Rob Wolf anymore either. I let all subscriptions die around the same time, come to think of it. Then this idea of paying for online only content? No thanks.

It's already survived longer than I thought it would.

I guess that is where I was going with this, wondering if they are getting ready to go under. I do have to agree on the comment about Wolf, any experience I’ve had with him he has an air about him where he thinks he is above most.

Wolf is smarter than the average bear, i'm surprised he hasn't run for public office.
