1/25 model a buddy made...

...of my car when it was famous
Figured some of you might enjoy it.
A lot of work went into this vs the stock kit, based on photos I've collected over the years.
He even made the logo decals; apparently the 4 in 340 is unique to this car vs. the team cars.
He even did the correct firing order.
I owe this guy bigtime, and it's his as far as I'm concerned, I'm just its caretaker.

I'm pretty good at settling up, but he's got more coming for sure.
Been sharing the compliments from 340 A-body and SuperStock forums with him.
He's been a helluva friend for other reasons, too.

Cool! He even got the orange box in there...

Heck, he made a T-quad out of an AVS, made wiper posts, shaved the wipers, converted the kit's 4-speed to a TF, d'shaft loop, did gauge faces, made the rollbar...
Had to tweak things for proper wheel/tire fit, spent days on the logo, it just goes on...
I might set it in the real car so it picks up some of its aroma

I honestly can't recall ever receiving a better gift, and I'm humbled...
