Reunited After 46 Years

Reunited After 46 Years - 12/19/20 09:16 AM

Back in 1974 - Bob sold his beloved 1968 Plymouth Satellite Convertible.
A factory four speed convertible with a 383.
He figured he would never see it again.
Many years later - it surfaced in the same area.
Some friends found it one day on a drive.
Repainted - same family owned that he sold it too.

After a few years - Bob was able to buy it back.

I picked it up today.

I took some videos & pictures.

In a few days - Bob will be reunited with a car
he never thought he would own again.

A Great Christmas Story ....

I know a guy who bought a 1972 Road Runner from a guy because it had the same options as the car he bought brand new. This one had a 383 with dual carbs and high rise sticking out of the hood. He bought it and after a few months found some things that seemed odd to him. He dug through his old paperwork and it was his original car.

Really cool story, Jim. Glad to see the happy ending. My first car was 369 satellite. I had the rear quarter panels opened up like that car does. I wish I could find that car.

Something happened to me like that. Bought a 1972 Plymouth satellite. Sold it. Bought it 2 years later. sold it. Bought it back 5 years later. Sold it again and found it in a wrecking yard years after that.

Glad to hear he got his old car back. I bet the stories he could tell about the car will be soo cool to hear!
